TrustMark is delighted to announce they will be one of the sponsors of the National Consumer Federation (NCF) Consumer Congress 2020 on the 23rd January in London.

This NCF Consumer Congress will focus on home energy and how consumers in their homes can help meet the enormous challenge of the 2030 and 2050 targets for reducing the rate of global warming to within 1.5%.

There are many different individual aspects to achieving the goal and the NCF Consumer Congress will focus on one important area: home energy and retrofit services. There is a national initiative to achieve major improvements in home insulation and domestic energy management. This initiative will contribute to the targets but will have the important additional benefits for consumers in reducing their energy costs and providing healthier homes for many who currently suffer from damp and cold accommodation.

The UK must make improvements to 24 million homes in 30 years. The NCF Consumer Congress will consider the challenges consumers face as homes are retrofitted and ensure that home energy and retrofit services are consumer focused to meet the aims of carbon reduction, good service and consumer cost reduction.
