We are TrustMark - the only UK Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for home improvements carried out in and around the home. We are passionate about quality and assurance and what that means for homeowners and our Registered Businesses.
We are seeking a Managing Director, who will be responsible for providing operational leadership, oversight, and organisational direction to drive the success of our not-for-profit social enterprise that is firmly embedded in the home improvement and energy efficiency sectors.
The role will report to the Chief Executive Officer, and you will work closely with him and the Board of Directors to collaborate with internal teams and engage with external stakeholders to achieve our operational and financial goals. Your ability to balance regulatory and public sector impact with financial sustainability will be essential to our continued growth and effectiveness.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with exceptional leadership capabilities, ideally within a home improvement, construction, or energy sector
- A strong understanding of both the public and private sector landscapes would be desirable
- A track record driving financial sustainability and securing funding from diverse sources
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and familiarity with governance principles and compliance requirements for not-for-profit organisations
The role attracts a competitive salary and bonus scheme alongside a non-contributory company pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme (EAP), cycle-to-work scheme and a nine-day fortnight. The role will be based in our Basingstoke office.
The salary band is £130,000 to £150,000 per year, depending on experience.
