Our Consultation on proposed changes to the TrustMark Quality Assurance Scheme to improve Consumer Protection has now closed. Thank you to all who took the time to provide your views, thoughts and suggestions in your responses.

Some of the changes we're proposing include:

• Building a direct relationship with every TrustMark Registered Business and individual, including Retrofit Assessors and Retrofit Coordinators

• Becoming a single, easy point of contact for consumers when things need resolving

• Strengthening the financial protection that covers work carried out under the TrustMark scheme

• Opening up the TrustMark Data Warehouse, our secure system for recording work, to more of the work carried out under our scheme to drive improved consumer protection and build richer insights

• Introducing changes to registration and lodgement fees

The time for change is now. Working with our valued Scheme Providers, Registered Businesses and stakeholders across the home improvement sector, we can all be part of that change.
