What to Excecpt on the Day of Your Audit

A qualified TrustMark surveyor will visit your property to carry out the audit and provide you with clear information about the outcome and any next steps.

During the audit, our surveyor will carry out a thorough inspection of the work completed at your property. This will include:

Inspecting the energy efficiency measures installed in your home
Verifying that the installation meets the required technical and quality standards
Taking photographs to document the condition and installation of the measures
Conducting property measurements to support verification checks
Explaining the outcome of the audit and advising you of any next steps

All TrustMark surveyors carry valid TrustMark identification, which they will present upon arrival.

Who will Contact Me?

We will contact you. You will know they are legitimate because we will be able to provide you with the Unique Measure Reference Number for your home. This is a unique number, just for your home, and it is shown on the letter you should have received from Ofgem.

Only legitimate parties have access to this number.

If someone contacts you about a home audit check and cannot provide you with this Unique Measure Reference Number, do not share any personal details with them or let them into your home. If you are still unsure, call 0333 555 1234 (Option 1).
