TRUSTMARK WELCOMES OCEAN CERTIFICATION AS A NEW SCHEME PROVIDER

Dec 17, 2019, 13:46 PM by TrustMark

A UK leading certification organisation has joined TrustMark as a new Scheme Provider.

Ocean Certification provides UKAS accredited certifications for a variety of traders from national housebuilders to independent gas engineers.

Certifications include PAS 2030 (Energy Efficiency Installer), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management).

Ocean Certification work with a large number of energy installers who have gained and maintained their PAS 2030 certifications. A PAS 2030 certificate allows installers to offer government-funded services to install measures to improve home efficiency, within the areas certificated.

Now that Ocean is a TrustMark Scheme Provider, their clients will be able to gain both certifications for PAS 2030 and become a TrustMark Registered Business as part of the services offer, saving them time and effort on gaining the right credentials to enable them to install energy-efficient measures.

Simon Ayers, Chief Executive Officer of TrustMark, said: “Ocean Certification is one of the UK’s leading certification bodies that has gained UKAS accreditation across a number of standards and we are proud to welcome them as a Scheme Provider. They are dedicated to supporting their businesses in identify areas for continual improvement across their quality, environmental and health and safety measures, meaning they not only become more profitable as an organisation, but their customers benefit from having positive experiences when dealing with them.

‘As we move forward under new ECO3 regulations and PAS specifications, services that organisations like Ocean Certification provide will be integral in how the construction industry carry out their business as we all work towards meeting the government’s pledge to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to be net-zero by 2050.”

Martin Thornley, Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Certification, added: “Ocean are both excited and delighted to become a Trustmark Scheme Provider. Our PAS 2030 and compliance team have worked exceptionally hard so that we can now offer this assessment and registration package to our clients, meaning they receive an even better service from us.

“As a certification body, trust, confidence and business improvement, are three key drivers as to why clients come to us. Having added the option of becoming a TrustMark Registered Business as part of our service, provides even more value to our customers; it sits exceptionally well within our core offering.

“Not only will we be celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2020, but we are also preparing for an exceptionally busy year. Our client base continues to grow month on month across the business, and we are the very first certification body to have had a UKAS audit for the new PAS 2030:2019 standard. Our fantastic team is certainly enabling the business to lead the way in the sector; resulting in a very exciting time ahead of us.”
