The TrustMark Board

The TrustMark Board is a team of highly experienced leaders, committed to the long-term growth and performance of TrustMark. They bring extensive experience and expertise gained across a variety of sectors and roles that enables them to support and provide governance to TrustMark.

Working with our Senior Leadership Team, the Board sets the strategy and oversees the operation of TrustMark.

Chris Pond - Chair

Chris has held senior leadership roles in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, as Chair and Chief Executive, Executive and Non-Executive Director, Trustee and Government Minister

Brian Gregory - Non-Executive Director

With a specialism in Compliance, Brian is a highly experienced entrepreneur. He founded a fire safety business in 2002 and sold it in 2018 to a major player within the wider compliance sector

Emma Harvey-Smith - Non-Executive Director

Specialising in Green Finance, Emma oversees a multi-strand programme that catalyses green home finance markets through place-based partnerships and industry collaborations

Liz Barclay - Non-Executive Director

Liz coaches communication and presentation skills. Her other specialisms include improving governance, inclusion and understanding customer behaviour

Louise Baxter MBE- Non-Executive Director

With a specialism in consumer vulnerability, Louise combines her expertise in regulation, fraud and scams to protect vulnerable consumers

Lynn Drury - Non-Executive Director

Specialising in HR & Legal, Lynn has a broad background encompassing FTSE 100 and Global plc organisations as well as not-for-profit and more. This gives her great insight into TrustMark's stakeholders

Matthew Tod - Non-Executive Director

Specialising in Data, Matthew has a passion for using digital technologies, powered by data and analytics, to deliver digital transformation and real business impact

Richard Saggers - Non-Executive Director

With a specialism in Business Development & Acquisition. Richard combines the understanding of how to create customer proximity to drive new revenue opportunities

Simon Ayers MBE - Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Simon leads TrustMark with objective and strategic insight developed from an accomplished career in the energy and construction industry spanning over 30 years
