About us

Riverdale Falls is a specialist water feature company founded in 2022, built on over two decades of experience in landscaping, stone masonry and water design. We bring together technical knowledge and traditional craft to create ponds, streams, waterfalls and water gardens that look and feel as though they have always belonged in their surroundings. Unlike many companies, we start with the water and the stone, not the landscaping. Every cascade, pool and stream is treated as a sculpted element that must work with its setting, using stone masonry principles to guide how each rock is chosen, laid and detailed. This understanding of stone character, water movement and long-term weathering allows us to build features that mature beautifully over time rather than looking man-made. Our director, Nick, has spent over twenty years working with water and stone, combining design sensitivity with a strong grasp of filtration, circulation and engineering so that every feature is both aesthetically refined and technically sound. Our work ranges from wildlife-friendly ponds and natural swimming ponds to formal fountains, streams, rockwork and integrated stone landscaping. We hand-select stone directly from the quarry, with a particular focus on the unique material from Forest of Dean Stone (Lovell Stone Group), whose fossil-rich, characterful stone and strong environmental standards align with our own values. Every project is approached as a bespoke commission, designed with wildlife in mind and constructed to last for generations, delivering naturalistic, enduring water features for gardens and estates across England.
