TrustMark Brings in the Flooring Experts

TrustMark, the Government endorsed quality mark for tradesmen, has approved its first industry training scheme operator for flooring, the Quick-Step® Academy for Excellence in Flooring. Recently opened, the Academy will be the largest flooring training centre in the UK with every approved Master Installer eligible to become a TrustMark Quick-Step® registered flooring fitter.

Following completion of the course, all Quick-Step® Master Installers are invited to become TrustMark registered, which will enable them to win new business and gain a competitive edge in the industry. Consumers will also be given better and more rigorous protection as Master Installers' technical skills will be independently checked through regular on-site inspections, as well as on their trading record and financial status.

The Quick-Step® Academy will provide the flooring industry with the largest state-of-the-art training and professional development facility to enable installers, flooring contractors and retailers to be able to accredit, develop and enhance their flooring installation skills.

Covering all of the UK, the Manchester-based Academy will work with leading subfloor preparation suppliers, sanding and power tool manufacturers to provide courses and benefits for all skill levels.
