How to become TrustMark registered

If you want to secure more business for your company by becoming TrustMark registered, then there are 3 key routes of entry into TrustMark, as detailed below.

Once approved, your business will be promoted on our website (averaging 330,000 tradesmens details viewed by the public each month) as well as being on a large number of other partners' websites.

Please note: The only way to become TrustMark registered, is to be checked and approved by one of our scheme operators. It is not possible to join TrustMark directly.
However we are only too happy to give advice. Tel: 01344 630 804 or e.mail: enquiries@trustmark.org.uk

If you are already a member of a Trade Association, see if they have already joined TrustMark as a scheme operator, and if they haven’t, ask them why not!

If you are a member of a scheme operator detailed below, then this is often an easier route into becoming TrustMark approved.

Or if not already a member, contact your preferred association, join them and then ask to become TrustMark registered at the same time. Once approved, you will receive the same high level of TrustMark promotion and protection as provided through our other two routes of entry.

If you are not a member of a Trade Association which is TrustMark approved and wish to become registered, then you can be considered by any one of the organisations detailed below.

They will assess you in line with TrustMark's standards and once approved, you will receive the same high level of promotion and protection as provided through our other two routes of entry.

If you operate your business from within one of the ‘Local Authorities’ regions detailed below or if your operate just outside but carry out business within the region, then you may want to join TrustMark this way.

Note:- If you do not carry out business in these Local Authorities then you cannot become TrustMark registered through this route, as they want our registered tradesmen to serve their local community.

You will be assessed in line with TrustMark’s standards and once approved, you will receive the same high level of promotion and protection as provided through our other two routes of entry.

Summary:- trades covered  and  trades by operators

All tradesmen / firms have the opportunity to join TrustMark whether they are a single person business or a large regional / national company.

Scheme operators manage the TrustMark scheme on our behalf and carry out checks on the firm, monitor its work, and handle any complaints and they can be trade associations, non trade associations and local authorities.

Scheme operators charge different amounts for TrustMark membership as they offer different benefits and services, so it's best to consider which of the 3 routes detailed above suits you and of those detailed which are licensed for your trade(s).
